I was a Daddy's girl.He transitioned on ANZAC Day, what a day to go. He had a good life and a peaceful death.
He was a real character, a hermit and he had a very dry sense of humour. Yes, we yelled at each other, apart from him being deaf, maybe it was the Italian way, but there was also a lot of laughter too, we always turned it into a funny, it was our way. Love you Papa-Matteo, Rest in Peace.
A full on fiery month ahead with many planets moving into the Aries zodiac sign, and a Full Moon Eclipse coming up later in the month too. Read the Astrology Forecast below to see how this affects you.
The two Tarot cards I picked for this month also shows a fiery month ahead, both were wands cards, so get ready for the major shifts coming up.

1. Astrological Report for May
The month begins with Venus moving into Aries on 2 May, Jupiter also moves into Aries on the 10 May, the same day Mercury goes Retrograde.Aries is a very fiery action and pioneering energy. Aries is ruled by Mars the God of War. He is a courageous, determined fiesty energy.
Jupiter entering Aries is a huge shift for us. Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system it's all about growth and expansion and is also a fiery element.
Jupiter moving into Aries will ramp up the energy, we will feel this push forward, the energy will express itself outwardly. It's like the Sun coming out from behind a grey cloud.
Jupiter will retrograde back into Pisces later in the year, but for now enjoy this full on extroverted, very dynamic pioneering action energy.
Venus, the Goddess of love and beauty moving into Aries is a very playful energy. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. Peter Pan is often associated with this Aries energy. Venus loves to be social and flirtatious, the opportunity here is for Venus to really enjoy herself.
Mercury will remain in Retrograde for the rest of the month and turn Direct on 3 June. It is currently in Gemini which Mercury rules and is very comfortable in its home sign, it feels strong here.It will retrograde back into Taurus to the same degree when we had the Eclipse back in November last year. This is very interesting.
So remember what you were going through late last year, because you now have the opportunity to take it to the next level or the next phase. Whatever you were working on, now is the time to be productive.
On the 16 May, we have the Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio. Scorpio is always an intense energy, add in a Full Moon and an Eclipse happening at the same time making for a very powerful time indeed.
Scorpio will always bring up the shadow side. We have the opportunity here to transform and take it to the higher phoenix levels.
Eclipses in Scorpio will always tap into the shadow potentials. The negative side is the dark side, like jealousy, revenge, holding all those grudges, keeping us bogged down in the shadows.
The positive side is when we make a conscious choice to rise above and take it to that higher ground. If we can release that shadow control and surrender to the highest good for all. This is using that intense Scorpion energy at the highest level.
On the 24 May, we also have Mars entering its home sign of Aries. As if it cannot get any more exciting, then Mars moves into Aries.By the end of this month get ready to punch it out! There is such an outward expression of energy.
You may need to dig deep but you will find the courage is there to pull it off very easily. Surprise surprise!

2. Tarot Cards Insight into the Flavour of the Month...
Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
I asked the Tarots what is the flavour and energy for May 2022? What do we need to be aware of for this month?
I turned over 7 of Wands in the Conscious position and 5 of Wands in the Unconscious position.
Both Wands cards showed up for this month.
Wands is a Fire Element and it has to do with work, career, skills, talents, efforts and ideas. Therefore, there seems to be a lot of activity happening in the month of May. The Astrology Forecast also suggested this, read my report above.
The guy in the 7 of Wands seems to be on top of things, you can see he is standing on the mound holding the Wand across his chest as if he is ready for battle. He is definitely winning because he is the one on top.
He is wearing a lot of green, the colour of fertility, creativity and potential. Then green grassy knoll he is standing on looks bumpy and uneven which may suggest things are moving underfoot.
Regarding the other 6 wands poking up towards him, we don't know what is happening below, we cannot see what is going on and neither can he.
The number 7 has to do with reassessment. Take your time to research and review things before you make any decisions. Basically, you never know which way things are going to go with the 7s.
You can see he is wearing 2 different types of shoes. This suggests he is in two minds, he is rethinking the situation and there is no result as yet. For example, should I stay in the current work position or should I go?
With the 5 of Wands, there is a group of 5 people, sparring with each other and having a good ol' time.
They are all wearing a different coloured top which suggests they are all bringing in a different idea, agenda or viewpoint to the situation. No one is right or wrong and all suggestions are relevant.
The number 5 has to do with change, an upgrade is necessary here. The group of 5 people are all competing with each other, as if they are in a job interview and everyone is bringing different gifts and skills to the position.
I would expect many various changes happening in the month of May. Things may drag in the beginning of the month, maybe a good time to do the research, take your time to plan your steps properly, and by the end of the month the necessary changes will occur.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
In 2021, we didn't get to gather for the Annual LunaBears Picnic in the park, but it didn't stop us from raising the funds.
The funds raised goes directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears org with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
We raised $505.55 in October 2021
You are welcome to join our annual picnic and contribute a small $30 once a year. Together we raise a lot and this goes a long way!
All the funds go towards medicines, bear cub rescues, food, Sanctuary upkeep, educating the public, education in schools on ending bear bile farming, you name it there is still a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
