Happy Easter to everyone!Here in the Southern Hemisphere the season turns towards Autumn, all the leaves change colour, drop off and blow around everywhere, daylight savings also ends and it starts to get darker earlier. Many will have there last get away during this Easter break before the fine weather turns cold.
Easter is also a time to turn inwardly with the symbolic death of Christ, we celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday with Easter eggs. The eggs are symbolic of a new resurgence of new life.
We also honour our diggers with ANZAC Day. Another day where we reflect inwardly, pay our respects and be grateful for the life we have because of their courage.
As we turn inward, reflect on where you are at with your life, start to prepare and squirrel away those things that you will need during these inner Autumn and Winter seasons. It is a time of slowing down and hibernating, before we reemerge anew.

1. Astrological Report for April
The whole month of April we have a Jupiter Neptune in Pisces undertone. Jupiter will expand all that watery, spiritual and dreamy energy of Neptune. We could also get caught up in the illusion as well.So the lesson here for this whole month, is to understand your state of mind, get clarity and get focused for yourself. Integrate your spiritual skills with the practical side of life.
The month begins with the New Moon in Aries on 2 April, which could actually assist us to feel more in charge, get things moving forward and grounded, especially with all that Jupiter Neptune in Pisces watery energy.This New Moon in Aries is highlighting our self-assertion and the courage to follow through with our plans. Aries is the God of War, very active, fiery, determined energy. This is fabulous energy to help us be more aware of whats going on around us.
During this time, we also have Mars, Venus and Saturn all in Aquarius, which is very significant to the New Moon in Aries.Mars rules Aries which holds that initiative energy and Saturn is very resourceful therefore great at solving problems. Venus will add colour, flair and make it look really beautiful, the only way Venus knows how to do it.
On a personal level, there 3 planets working together will bring active, action energy, we have the opportunity to resolve many issues.
On a global level, there could be a resolution opportunity here for the war in Ukraine to cease fire for example.
On the 12 April, Jupiter and Neptune will conjunct exactly on this day. Even though the undercurrents will affect us all month.On personal level, this combination can open a door for us to our superconscious level, we may experience incredible mystical experiences. On the negative side, we may get caught up in illusion, fear and anxiety because these planets highlights our sensitivity.
On a global level, the devastating news of the floods happening again in northern New South Wales, as well as the terrible destruction happening in Ukraine, is all affecting us.
Note that Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces, are working on a different level than what we are normally used too. We have to be mindful of how much we open the door to all this news.
If we use these energies at the highest possible level, we can tap into and activate higher faith, creative imagination, visionary skills to manifest a new mystical approach to life.
On the 16 April, we have the Full Moon in Libra. Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet of relationships and seeing beauty in everything.This Full Moon will create a dynamic and energetic approach with the planets Pluto and the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction. Its all happening, the pressure is on. What does this mean for us?
It means pressure on our nervous system, we have to be aware and breathe through it. Create calm, step up with your spiritual practices so that you give yourself an anchor to keep yourself centered. The waves may be crashing all around you, but your little row boat will not get caught up in the whirlpool of emotions, if you keep calm and centered.
In the Southern Hemisphere, we will have our New Moon on 1 May, whereas in the Northern Hemisphere the New Moon will fall on 30 April. This New Moon in Taurus is also a partial Eclipse.The dynamic and potent energies of all the planets that are in conjunction, are still pushing and pulling the energies all around us and this is affecting our nervous system.
Bring your awareness up, keep calm and collected, practice your spiritual disciplines, be mindful what you listening too and watch on the media. Pay attention to where you are pointing your focus.

2. Tarot Cards Answer the Question of the Month...
Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
I asked the Tarots what is the flavour and energy is for April 2022? What do we need to be aware of for this month?
I turned over Ace of Cups in the Conscious position and 5 of Pentacles in the Unconscious position.
This is the third time the 5 of Pentacles has popped up in a row.
This immediately reminds me of the people being forced to flee from their worn torn Ukraine.
People are feeling like the couple in 5 of Pentacles, forced to leave their homes, their friends and families, their livelihoods and even their pets. Many men, fathers and sons are left behind to stand and fight, frightened. I also fear for the Russian soldiers away from their loved ones and families, giving their lives, for what?
So much pain, hurt, disillusionment, this brings feelings of low self-esteem and low confidence all the way around.
The Ace of Cups asks us to be more loving and more compassionate. You can see the cup is overflowing and there is no ending to it. This is truly a feeling of unconditional love.
The Ace of Cups has a religious feel to it, reminds me of how the Divine loves us, it is abundant and unending energy.
The dove is symbol of peace, he is God's messenger and is feeding us the host. This is called Communion. Once again it is referring to Com-Union, a coming together.
We keep getting reminded to have more empathy and compassion in this world. There is always someone less fortunate than ourselves. We have to be open to give and receive, and this action is never ending!

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
In 2021, we didn't get to gather for the Annual LunaBears Picnic in the park, but it didn't stop us from raising the funds.
The funds raised goes directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears org with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
We raised $505.55 in October 2021
You are welcome to join our annual picnic and contribute a small $30 once a year. Together we raise a lot and this goes a long way!
All the funds go towards medicines, bear cub rescues, food, Sanctuary upkeep, educating the public, education in schools on ending bear bile farming, you name it there is still a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
