1. Astrological Forecast for June

June is filled with energy since the Mars and Jupiter conjunction moved into Aries late May. Both planets and zodiac sign are Fire signs so the energy is very potent, its motivational, gives you that extra push to get on with it and make it happen, now! 

Take advantage of this energy by starting a new exercise regime, go for a walk or a bike ride and also get some sunshine on your back. Start somewhere even if its for 30 mins a day, this will be enough to renew your senses and boost your confidence.


On 3 June, Mercury comes out of its Retrograde phase. Mercury started its retrograde in Gemini, and will end the retrograde in the late degrees of Taurus.

Taurus is very earthy grounded energy, you should feel a sense of accomplishment by now. This also compliments the Mars Jupiter conjunction in Aries, very motivational energy to move forward and bring it into manifestation.

When Mercury hits its home sign of Gemini on 13 June, get ready for the mental to start activating new ideas. You may feel a sense of clarity, plans start falling into place, and the decisions that need to be made are swift and decisive. Bring it on I say!

On 4 June, Saturn enters its retrograde phase in Aquarius. This is a very important transit. Saturn first moved into Aquarius along with Jupiter in December of 2020.

Saturn is known as the Hard Task Master, it likes to get things done properly and on time. Saturn brings in a very productive energy for us, and Aquarius is very radical, its a big picture zodiac sign which helps us to shake things up and look at the bigger broader picture. Put these 2 energies together and we have "What you think you will create."

There is a need here for us to open our narrow minded ways, understand that there is more to this picture and let new technologies in to assist with the progress. Change our words, our thinking and even our actions. Time to integrate the new ways and new insights to shape our new reality. 

On 11 June, Venus conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. Venus moved into Taurus in late May, and loves being in Taurus because its one of its home signs. Venus is earthy and natural, loves food and all that good quality top shelf stuff that appeases the senses.

When Venus conjuncts with Uranus, the Air planet of radical thinking, it's time for Venus to really bring her sense of individuality to the forefront. Uranus is also known as a Maverick planet, and really pushes past any restraints.

Venus can really let loose here, things can speed up for earthy Venus. Watch out with the "love at first sight" business though. Just acknowledge your own sense of unique perspectives, your own unique style of clothes, be proud of your uniqueness and love yourself for it.

On 23 June, Venus moves into Gemini another Air element. Gemini rules communication, your mind and decision making. Note that your words really do matter.

Also note that Gemini can be a fickle sign and change its mind a lot, so with Venus in Mercury, one may need to watch what one says, because you may jump in to quickly and then regret you said something.

Make this energy work for you by sending a loving message to a friend or loved one. Send a card, a note or a text message. Complement people and tell them you love them!

On the 14 June, we have Full Moon in Sagittarius. This Full Moon in Sagittarius will also square Neptune making for a beautiful mystical visionary time. The Full Moon will highlight your intuition and all your emotional senses.

What a wonderful opportunity for you to practice your meditation skills. Time to connect with your inner world and your spiritual side. Do yoga, all these types of soft magical practices that will open you up to your higher levels and your higher senses.

Sagittarius loves to be adventurous, if your have never tried meditation this Full Moon is an excellent time for you to start. There are free apps on your mobile, there are walking meditations, 2 minute breathing meditations, its all there waiting for you to do something good!

2. Tarot Cards Insight into the Energy of the Month...

Every month I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

I asked the Tarots what is the energy for this month of June? What do we need to be aware of for this month?

I turned over Queen of Pentacles in the Conscious position and 8 of Swords in the Unconscious position.

Very different energy for this month. Pentacle cards are very earthy, practical and grounded energy whereas Swords rule the mind, ideas and the mental conflict energy.

The Queen of Pentacles sits in her lush garden reflecting on all the time, effort, money and energy it has taken to get things thus far.

Her garden is very green, the red roses above her are totally covering the archway, there is even a bunny on the bottom right hand side being playful. The bunny is another natural symbol of growth, wealth and new life.

I also like the blue mountains in the distance, suggesting there is still spiritual growth to conquer, its not all about the material side of life.

The red roses above her head and the red and white robes she wears always remind me of The Magician major arcana card. The Magician is a powerful manifesting card and so is this Queen of Pentacles.

The 8 of Swords suggests there are more hurdles to work through. To me, the 8 of Swords is the acknowledgement card. You have already turned your back to what is no longer applicable to your life and have moved on.

You can see the lady is bound and still standing. You can see she has a  bandage around her head restricting her sight and she is facing away from the 5 swords on her left side. She has surmounted these conflicts already and is now heading in a new direction.

The number 8 is a powerful prosperous infinity number, it has to do with values. The colour orange has to do with confidence, vitality and  courage. This cards always links me back to the Strength major arcana card, another powerful card that has to do with balance whether its internally or externally.

Expect to attain your goals this month. You have put in the hard work and effort, and you are bound to see the fruit of your labour. Some decisions have to be made, make them quick and don't look back!

DOTERRA WORKSHOP IN MOONEE PONDS

We managed to have a fabulous get together in Moonee Ponds!

Mark Sheppard our very own Blue Diamond, shared all the latest products and latest news doTerra brought out this year. 

It was wonderful to sit around the table and sample, touch, smell and see some of the gorgeous new products.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 

In 2021, we didn't get to gather for the Annual LunaBears Picnic in the park, but it didn't stop us from raising the funds.

The funds raised goes directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears org with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
 

We raised $505.55 in October 2021
 

You are welcome to join our annual picnic and contribute a small $30 once a year. Together we raise a lot and this goes a long way!

All the funds go towards medicines, bear cub rescues, food, Sanctuary upkeep, educating the public, education in schools on ending bear bile farming, you name it there is still a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
