 Happy LOVE Month!
Every year, I see the month of May as our Love month. We start with Global Love Day on the 1st, and then its followed by Mothers Day on the 10th.
The other other special days I love to celebrate this month are Star Wars Day on the 4th - May the fourth be with you. Followed by the 5th Element day on the 5th May, SBS will play this movie The 5th Element continuously throughout the day, one of my favourite movies and yes, I will be watching it, make sure you catch it as well.... Then we have World Tarot Day on 25th May, hello!
If you follow my Calendar of Events each month, there are other special days to take note of as well such as: National Volunteer Day, Wear Blue for Dolly Day, Laughter Day and Smile Day to name a few. I love all these special days because they bring awareness to us and the opportunity to share the love and give someone your smile.
I would like to say thank you and send my love to everyone that sends me a note re how much they enjoy reading my monthly newsletter, Revelations each month. I love that people are reading it, that they love the content and taking what they need from it. I really appreciate the feedback, thank you!

Welcome to Taurus Season
 The Taurus season runs from 19 April to 20 May. Taurus is an Earth element which is a grounded practical quality. It's a Fixed sign and is ruled by the planet Venus, the planet of love, beauty and social harmony.
People with strong Taurus energy tend to have a creative nature especially with food, they love quality and all that top shelf products.
After the fast-paced energy of Aries, the Taurus season encourages slowing down, building security, and appreciating life’s simple comforts, they love to embrace a cozy and harmonious environment with family and friends.
The energy of Taurus supports patience, loyalty, and building long-term foundations, but it can also bring a tendency toward stubbornness (after it is a fixed sign) or overindulgence (yes, Venus can be lazy). Overall, it’s a season to reconnect with your senses, nurture what truly matters, and cultivate a steady, sustainable rhythm in your life.

Full Moon in Scorpio
 On 2 May, we have the Full Moon in Scorpio. The first full moon of the month begins with this Taurus Scorpio polarity, it is extremely focused on concentrating its intensity in tenacity. The best way to use this full moon in Scorpio energy is to accomplish a task. It is profound and incredibly intense and passionate, so use it in a meaningful way.
Finish what you started is the topic or theme with this full moon. During this period, we have a lot of that fire Mars energy because Mars is still in Aries, along with Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, and Chiron. Examine yourself closely to see if you have a tendency to follow through with things or to leave them unfinished, because this full moon may induce emotions in this area. Do you have the willpower or tenacity to persevere and complete things even through life's challenges? It's about committing to what you have started and keeping on path, until its done.
New Moon in Taurus
 On 17 May, we have the New Moon in Taurus. In the middle of the month we are faced with a tenacity to persevere with finishing chores and tasks once again —in fact, we are at its pinnacle. Not only is Taurus earthy, practical, and anchoring energy, additionally, the Sun, Mercury and Moon are all conjunct in Taurus.
Taurus energy represents serenity in the present now. This is the theme of the Taurus New Moon, and boy don't we all need some peace right now.
Mars and Chiron are making their final hoorah in Aries at 28 degrees of Aries. This allows us to mend any aspect of ourselves that starts things but doesn't finish them. Examine your own past. Have you ever had a disappointing cycle of starting something and then losing concentration or coming up with a new idea and then letting it fade away? This is a chance to make amends, to make necessary changes and recommit to completing them.
Commitment is one aspect of this Taurus New Moon. Also, Uranus and Mercury are conjunct in Gemini, despite being in separate signs, there is a lot of busy busy mental activity going, and you can bring things to earth for yourself by spending time in nature, have some fun outdoors, and practice a grounding meditation. It's a gorgeous moon, so make use of it.
Full Moon in Sagittarius
 On the 31 May, we have the second Full Moon for the month, Full Moon in Sagittarius. The second full moon in the same month is called a Blue Moon.
This full moon in fiery Sagittarius will somewhat elevate the energy because it is opposite the Sun in Gemini on the same day when Saturn and Venus are square.
Great time to be focused on enthusiasm and focused on truth with capital letters because Sagittarius is always on the search for the truth and meaning. So what is your spiritual truth, then? What do you think or believe is true? This full moon emphasises this right now and it's crucial.
During this full moon, the planet Mercury will be in the late degrees of Gemini, so our minds will continue to be very active. Then the Uranus transit into Gemini will also be contributing to this. Overall, it's a fantastic time to talk to new people, expand your horizons. Share your enthusiasm, optimism, and positivity. This is an excellent time to do this because, in a perfect world, this Full Moon in Sagittarius should inspire us to reach our goals.

6 Buddha's Birthday. The birthday of the Prince Siddhartha Gautama is a holiday traditionally celebrated in Mahayana Buddhism.

9 World Migratory Bird Day. Raising awareness for Migratory Birds.
10 Wear Blue for Dolly Day, awareness day to stop bulling.
10 Mother's Day. Many celebrate Mother's Day by showing their appreciation for the achievements and efforts of mother.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are also loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights with others.
Each month, I like to ask the Tarot cards:
~ What is the energy for the month - May 2026.
~ What do we need to be mindful of, so we can make the most out of it for ourselves and for others.
Eight of Swords is in the Conscious position, and 2 of Swords in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
We have 2 swords cards to decipher. Also interesting to note they are both blindfolded. The blindfold suggests they cannot see something, maybe they have turned inward to check in with their inner tuition before making a decision.
This is a wise move. I truly believe what is yours will never go by you, so whether you act now or reflect on things overnight, is always in your best interests. As they say, while the bear sleeps, don't poke the bear.
Eight of Swords
There are 8 swords all around her, seems troubling, but if we break it down, this cards suggests more encouragement and empowerment.
The 5 swords on her left side seem to indicate that she has surmounted them already. We can see she has turned her back to them and the left side represents the unconscious side.
Looks like she left that castle on the hill and traveled down to where she is standing now. The castle may represent a high position at work or maybe her home. Whatever the situation its been an emotional journey for her, you can see some water on the ground. The 5 swords look like bars of the prison cell.
There are 2 swords on her right side, they are in her future. The only sword she needs to get around is the one that is in the front.
This is the acknowledgement card because look far she has come, she is wearing orange of colour of confidence and vitality and the bandages around her seem to be falling off. Plus, she is still standing. The number 8 is also about power, success and prosperity.
Two of Swords
In the unconscious position we have someone sitting down in a stable position, with their back to the water which represents emotions. They have their arms crossing over their heart and holding two swords. The tips of the swords are out of the picture so they don't get the point, yet.
This person is just quietly going within to connect with her High Priestess energy, there are so many similarities between these two cards that makes it obvious that she is checking in with her inner guidance system.
We have the last quarter moon and the orange mountains in the distance indicating that the sun is rising, all this suggests that she is about to come back out and finally make her decision. But the important thing is that she went inside to sit with it before deciding.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 We have been gathering for the LunaBears Picnic since 2007. In 2 years time it will be our 20 year reunion.
We raised $790 in October 2025
Thank you to Mastersons Bar. Heartfelt thank you to all that attended and to everyone that contributed. 17 people contributed this year, that means a lot to our furry friends!
The funds go directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through Free The Bears, with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
