Every year the GENI Foundation hosts the Comedy Gala. In fact, we have been running Comedy Fundraisers as far back as I can remember and I have been volunteering to the GENI Foundation for over 30 years now. Funnily enough, it was around the same time I started my Tarot in Action business. Started two major projects simultaneously.
The GENI Foundation is always raising funds for projects, one of them is installing solar panels on pensioners rooftops. We are currently working on the project #6. Currently we are producing one project per year, but we want to do more! Welcome to Gemini Season
 The Gemini season runs from 20 May to 21 June. Gemini is an Air element which can be a flighty and winged quality but also fast-paced, highly social, and intellectually curious. It's a Mutable sign and is ruled by the planet Mercury, the planet that rules communication, your thoughts, ideas and your mental acuity.
Symbolised by the twins, this season brings energy that teaches us to be versatile and multi-faceted. A lively, curiosity and social energy that encourages learning, conversation, creativity and connection with others, as well as the opportunity to see things from others points of view. Expect the unexpected and be ready to adapt when plans change.
During Gemini season, people often feel more restless, playful, expressive, and open to change, making it a powerful time for sharing ideas, exploring new interests, networking, traveling, and embracing spontaneity.
Note that the planet Uranus recently moved into the new sign of Gemini for the next 7 years. This may bring extra unpredictability, expect new technologies like AI, self-driving cars and EVs to ramp up into our everyday life. Social media may even change as we know it. Space expeditions could go further and faster into space, making it a great time to lean into excitement and break old routines.

Mercury Transits
 Even though the Sun is passing through the sign of Gemini, because there is a lot happening in the sign of Cancer, which is pulling it more into this emotional and sentimental levels, hence it isn't a particularly strong Gemini feel for this month, which is fascinating to say the least.
~ 1 June – 9 Aug: Mercury in Cancer
~ 29 June: Mercury Retrograde 26o Cancer
~ 23 July: Mercury Direct 16o Cancer
Firstly, Mercury moves into Cancer and will stay there a little longer than usual because it is going to go retrograde, as a result, Mercury will remain in Cancer until 9 August. When Mercury retrogrades it is a time when we experience a high level of clarity, problem-solving and productive time.
Mercury is the planet of communication and how we think. Because it is traveling through the emotional sign of Cancer, Mercury is imbued with sentimental energy, passion and feeling, which makes it illogical to think logically. Mercury in Cancer will have more to do with what we tell ourselves and how it affects us.
Additionally, consider whether we are feeling nourished and cared for. This will be crucial to consider: Do you love yourself enough? Do you tell yourself good things? Strong Cancer dynamics can readily cause emotional harm. In light of this, be mindful of what we say to one another. People may be extremely sensitive, so make sure you are being kind to both yourself and to other people.
Venus and Jupiter conjunct in Cancer
 On the 9 June, Venus and Jupiter will conjunct at 25o in Cancer. This lovely energy continues to grow during the first part of the month.
In addition to Mercury in Cancer, Venus and Jupiter will also enter Cancer. Jupiter is making a powerful statement because this is the final month that it will be in Cancer before it moves in Leo for the next year.
Together, Venus and Jupiter have this incredible beautiful energy. Jupiter expands the energy into a great, broad, harmonious social energy with lots of blessings. Additionally, it is especially nurturing, loving, emotional and sentimental because they are in Cancer.
Allow Venus and Jupiter to bless you by being kind to yourself, give yourself hugs and speak softly to both yourself and to other people. Enjoy this Venus Jupiter gorgeous conjunction, drink it in, let yourself be fueled and filled with love and let it overflow unto others.
Venus and Jupiter in Leo
 ~ 13 June: Venus in Leo
~ 30 June: Jupiter in Leo
On 13 June, Venus enters the sign of Leo. This will mark a significant shift in our current dynamics. Venus will provide a preview of this Leo energy before Jupiter enters into the Leo on 30 June, which then will spend a year in Leo until July 2027.
Leo emphasises our own inner leadership qualities and is consistent with our self-love talk both internally and externally. Leo energy is about our capacity to shine and our capacity for self-assurance, to stand up for ourselves in the outer world.
By the time we reach the middle part of the month and Venus enters Leo. The energy communicates, "I feel good about myself," it is a powerful radianting time for ourselves. Think of that James Brown song, "I Feel Good," It's a fantastic Leo-style tune. Let yourself shine and start concentrating on that.
Then by the time Jupiter enters the Leo energy, it will want to expand and make this new found confidence energy grow. One of the things Jupiter will teach us, which will begin when Venus enters Leo, is having enough self-worth to say, "It's okay for me to give and to receive." It's crucial to balance in-flow and out-flow.
New Moon in Gemini
 On the 14 June, we have a New Moon in Gemini. This Gemini new moon delivers a little bit of different energy from what we have been experiencing thus far. It's actually pretty wonderful because it will lift us up because it's fun, adaptable and lighter energy.
With Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury traveling in Cancer for the entire month, we are currently experiencing a strong Cancer flow for a significant part of the month. As a result, when this new moon in Gemini appears, it's like saying, "Let's think about it instead of feeling so much," this is a nice delightful pause for us from all the emotional happenings.
When the Moon travels through Gemini, I call it the "Affirmation Moon." Also since Uranus is already in Gemini, there is no better time for you to be extremely clear about where your thoughts are going.
During this lunation, take a minute to energize your affirmations and make sure you are allowing your thoughts to be highly creative. As well as interacting with others, truly engaging through conversation. Fabulous time to organise get-together dinner parties or games nights.
Full Moon in Capricorn
 On 29 June, we have the Full Moon in Capricorn. There is a lot going on around this full moon time. We have Chiron's transition into the new sign of Taurus, which brings in a lot of useful grounded energy, this in itself is another significant development. Jupiter and Mercury will be conjunct in Cancer, then the day following this full moon, Jupiter will enter the new sign of Leo. Jupiter's final day in Cancer, with this sensitive, emotional watery energy is therefore on the day of the full moon.
If this isn't complicated enough, Mars and Uranus are also approaching a conjunction in Gemini, which we begin to see around the Full Moon in Capricorn. In actuality, the conjunct occurs on 4 July, which coincidentally is the USA celebrations of 250 years of independence. Also note that DJ Trump is a Gemini.
This moon in the Capricorn is incredibly complex. In summary, on the day of the full moon, Mercury goes retrograde as well. This means that we have a very powerful, emotionally sensitive energy working with high electrical and revolutionary force from Mars and Uranus that are currently traveling together in Gemini.
Be focused and funnel that earthy energy of Capricorn, which tells you to calm down and centre yourself. Use this electric energy for the greatest good, regardless of what is happening around you. Again, connect with this full moon in Capricorn energy so that you have a methodical approach to your habits and a solid plan for what you want to accomplish.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck representing the Unconscious. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
~ What is the energy for the month - June 2026.
~ What do we need to be mindful of, so we can make the most out of it for ourselves and for others.
~ Ace of Cups is in the Conscious position, and 7 Pentacles in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
Two minors show up for this month and one of them is an Ace.
This month feels very special because Cups have to do with feelings and Pentacles have to do with things of value.
However this energy shows up for you this month, take your time to explore all possibilities, and only move into it if it feels right for you or if its of value for you to proceed.
Ace of Cups
Aces represent total triumphant success and full-on over-sized emotions and feelings. They are too strong for new beginnings. You are excelling, winning and overblown joyously exuding this energy.
This card not only is about emotional love but more so spiritual love. This Cup always reminds me of God's Chalice. It is also gold in colour and the colour gold connects us to the source, the divine, Godliness power.
You can see 5 streams of water flowing over the cup, its endless, just like God's love is endless. They connect to our 5 senses. There is a Bible connection, Psalm 23, "My cup runneth over." There is also a white dove representing peace and God's messenger holding a host in it's mouth as if it's feeding our soul. Having Communion with God.
They say, fill your cup up first and then let it then flow unto others. This also reminds me of, you have to love yourself first, before you can love anyone else. Be totally satisfied with love within yourself. Be loving, kind and generous with yourself, then you become a more loving person in the world.
7 Pentacles
The number seven has to do with reassessment, taking that step back and reviewing what you have accomplished thus far before you get back into it again. Nothing wrong with that, review, rethink and maybe even give yourself time to rest. When you get back to the work, you will trim it in some way.
Whatever you are working on is of value to you. This is what the Earth element is all about. You would not put that much effort and energy into it if it wasn't of value. Then, you don't want to waste your time and money either, therefore take you time with it and get it right the first time.
You can see he is wearing blue under garments and standing on blue and pink ground with purple mountains in the background. Blue is the colour for emotions and feelings, pink is the colour for unconditional love and purple is the colour for spiritual enlightenment. Mountains also represent challenges and aspirations we want to climb and achieve.
For this month, whatever you are physically working on, give it the time it needs, its a labour of love for you to do, so enjoy the process and notice the growth. You can see a pentacle or the offshoot at his feet. You may not think its growing, but it is.

 We have been gathering for the LunaBears Picnic since 2007. In 2 years time it will be our 20 year reunion.
We raised $790 in October 2025
