Happy Easter to you and yours!

Easter has a strong religious and natural connection to the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.

Easter commemorates Jesus Christ's resurrection, which signifies His victory over sin and death. His resurrection signifies rebirth and eternal life, whereas His crucifixion stands for suffering and sacrifice (death).

Letting go of the old self to welcome the new beginnings is a metaphor for spiritual transformation. It serves as a potent reminder that there is always more to come and that endings are never truly final.

Another reminder this month is the celebration of our ANZACs. A day to honour our departed soldiers so that we can continue to live the lives we do today.

My favourite dawn service was in Torquay at Point Danger, which is located directly on the coast. I was transported back in time by the sight of the sun rising over the horizon, which connected me to the ANZACs logo,  then a lone tiger moth plane slowly flying over head. Everything all around was quiet that early in the morning, all you can hear were the propellers of the tiger moth. Lest we forget.

Also, I have stopped sharing posts in a lot of various groups that I created in Facebook, and directing all my Tarot news, Astrology forecasts and memes to my Tarot in Action Page. Please like my page and keep up with all my notices there. It was becoming a chore to upkeep all the different groups and it felt right to change it now. Thanks for the follow!

1. Astrological Forecast for the Month

Welcome to Aries Season

The Aries season runs from 21 March to 19 April. Aries is a Fire element, a cardinal sign and is ruled by the planet Mars, the planet that rules your action-oriented energy, your desires, bold initiatives, your courageous pioneering and leadership skills.

People with strong Aries energy tend to embody the Martian qualities: they are decisive, passionate, and quick to take action. They thrive on movement and momentum, often leading rather than following. There’s a natural confidence and competitiveness here, along with a desire to conquer obstacles and initiate new beginnings.

However, the Mars–Aries connection also has a shadow side. The same fiery force that fuels courage can lead to impatience, impulsiveness, or conflict when not balanced. Aries may act before thinking, driven by instinct rather than reflection.

At its highest expression, Mars in Aries teaches the power of aligned action—moving forward with courage, authenticity, and purpose. It reminds us that sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is take the first step, even without certainty.

APRIL FORECAST

Full Moon in Libra

On 2 April we have the Full Moon in Libra. Libra is lovely energy, its ruled by Venus after all and Venus is very happy in its home sign of Libra. The Moon in Libra is opposite the Sun which is exulted in Aries. This Full Moon is also T-square Jupiter in Cancer.

This combination contains an energy that can be quite enjoyable for you if you work it correctly. Harmony, tranquility, social connections, being courteous, graceful and having refined manners are all reflected in this Moon in Libra. Add Jupiter in Cancer to the mix and we lift it all up with enthusiasm, compassion, family and sensitivity. 

The bottom line of this Full Moon in Libra is to engage in beauty and harmony in your behaviour with all of your mind, body, and soul. Right now, we could really use some of this energy in the world to smooth out some of those sharp edges we are all currently experiencing.

Mars in Aries

On 9 April through to 18 May, Mars will transit Aries. Reminder that Mars rules Aries and the Sun is currently in Aries, so we have this fiery masculine action energy happening the background. 

We are experiencing a very highly and powerful Mars this month. Given that Mars is the God of War and will stay in Aries until the end of May. Mars's energy influences both our behavior, our action, our attitudes and our mindset.

~ 13 April - Mars Neptune conjunct
~ 14 April - Mercury enters Mars
~ 17 April - New Moon in Aries
~ 19 April - Mars Saturn conjunct
~ 20 April - Mars Mercury conjunct 

Mars interacts with numerous planets this month, its like a strong saturation of Mars Aries energy. Therefore you need to manage April carefully, be mindful and extremely aware of Mars's desire to act quickly. Aries Mars energy is assertive, fast, impatient, and prone to wrath wherever and whenever. For example, if your methods for completing your work are restricted in some way or if you are instructed to go slower or if there are roadblocks or other impediments, you may feel agitated and may have the tendency to get fired up about it.

A fabulous way to manage your action energy is to include plenty of exercise so you burn off the excess dross and some of that hot-headed heat, you want your body to be physically challenged so you are using this Mars energy from the highest possible level.

Also, recognise that you can accomplish a great deal of work during this time as it's pretty potent. Not everyone around you will understand how to make good use of this Mars energy. So you may see some irritable, cranky and impatient people. However, if you engage in enough physical activity, your energy flow should be extremely strong and powerful.

New Moon in Aries

On 17 April, we have the New Moon in Aries. The surge of Mars Aries energy continues. This New Moon is absolutely striking because there are so many other planets in Aries at the same time. There is Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Chiron, the Sun, and the Moon all grouped together. Naturally, this is drawing our attention to something.

This concentration of the cardinal fire sign of Mars is encouraging you to be stronger, brave and assertive. It is perfectly acceptable to being strong and outspoken, setting boundaries, setting limits, standing in your power and being independent. That's the main point of all this energy. It's puncturing it.

Chiron, who is in conjunction with the Sun and Moon, is asking whether you have any scars or wounds related to your confidence that you need to confront and heal.

Additionally, there are planets on the angles with this New Moon. When we have a lunation with planets sitting on the angles, it's similar to highlighting a specific period of time. It is warning us that significant action will be taken, ideally in the direction of breakthroughs and resolutions.

The key is to handle all of this Aries Mars energy as effectively as we can, as we move through April. Be brave. strong and powerful so you avoid getting sucked into the background news and other people's annoyance, frustrations, anger and rage.

Venus Conjuncts Uranus

On the 23 April, planet Venus will conjunct with Uranus. Venus the planet of love and social harmony reacts with Uranus the planet of revolutionary change. There is lot of activity to be aware of between these 2 planets and heaps of mental development coming up:

~ Mid May - Mercury in Gemini
~ 25 April - Venus in Gemini
~ July through to mid August - Mars in Gemini
~ 4 July - Mars and Uranus conjunct. (right on the US Independence day 250 year anniversary).

Venus and Uranus will come together for the last day just before Uranus transitions from Taurus to Gemini. This is fascinating since Venus rules Taurus, and Uranus is about to depart from the Taurus, it's like the last farewell kiss from Venus.

The fact that Uranus would conclude its transit with a Venus conjunction is fascinating. This may imply that certain resolutions are being considered. After completing its Taurus cycle, Uranus will go into Gemini until May 2033.

What is also intriguing is that on the same day Uranus moves into the new sign of Gemini, so does Venus enter Gemini. Its as though Venus and Uranus are together on the final day of Taurus, and then Venus enters Gemini to greet Uranus there, making for a smoothe transition.

When Uranus moves into Gemini expect significant changes in energy and dynamics, there will be a 7 year high-tech upheaval and revolution. AI is undoubtedly a major component of the enormous advancements in high tech in general. A new generation of artificial intelligence will emerge in the next seven years, and life as we know it will change significantly because Saturn and Uranus will be conjunct near the end of this Uranus transit in Gemini. 

In the end, communication will alter during this time, and social media will change as a result of AI's increased involvement. Our awareness of how our ideas contribute to the creation of our reality and world we live in will likewise change as well as the way we process information.

Bottom line, since Uranus is electricity, you must first be conscious of controlling your thoughts.  This is an extremely electric intellectual period, we must learn how to quiet our minds and direct our thoughts where they are needed. 

Therefore, pay attention to how you think, change and digest information. The more AI becomes involved the more we need to verify whether a story is even true, so be mindful of utilising your intuition to verify the news and stories you hear.

2. Tarot Cards Insight into the Energy of the Month...

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

These two Tarot cards are also loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights with others.

Each month, I like to ask the Tarot cards: 
~ What is the energy for the month - April 2026.
~ What do we need to be mindful of, so we can make the most out of it for ourselves and for others.

Two of Cups is in the Conscious position, and 4 of Pentacles in the Unconscious position.

Summary...

Interesting, we have 2 minor cards showing up again, not that it means anything less because its not a major arcana card.

The Two of Cups, means a beautiful union between two sides; whether that is a relationship between two people or the two sides of the oneself.

The Four of Pentacles shows someone holding on to the four pentacles very tightly. Pentacles represent material or spiritual wealth or values.

April seems to be a month of sharing heaps of specialness with our loved ones. A time of coming together and spreading the love. It is Easter break time after all, it's our last time in the tail end of our warmer seasons and we do come together as a family, whatever family means to you, whether that's going away camping with friends or celebrating the rebirth of Jesus Christ. 

Two of Cups

Everything in this card screams balance in the area of feelings and emotions. The couple are the same height, one female and the other male. The cups are the same height. There is the caduceus, the world known symbol of healing. There is also a lions head representing masculine energy and the dove wings representing female energy.

There is a lot of love in this card, this is shown by the solid gold colour on the bottom of the card where they are standing. You can say they are soul mates. You can say they both share the love for one another.

That is true love, when you are there for your partner 100 %, not this meeting in the middle at 50% each, but being there 100% of the time.

4 of Pentacles

Someone is sitting on top the building tops like he is sitting on top of the world. His back is to the city, suggesting he went to town, made his fortune, he has had enough and he has enough to meet his needs and is now ready to head back home.

He is wearing a black cloak over the top of his garments as if he is not disclosing what he has, its under wraps, he is discreet about it and doesn't need to share it with anyone.

You can see a strip of blue colour on the hem of his outfit suggesting his spiritual wealth is low on his list of things. Its there but the main focus has been building his material wealth. It also suggests that his material wealth and spiritual values have both been met.

The number four is also about foundations and stability. This person is definitely stable in his position, he is sitting down and very comfortable with whatever he has reached in life.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC

We have been gathering for the LunaBears Picnic since 2007. In 2 years time it will be our 20 year reunion.

                   We raised $790 in October 2025
