GENI Foundation Comedy Gala Fundraiser 
Check us all out, what a fabulous night it was! We caught up with good friends and made new ones. The comedians were so funny, one better than the other! I laughed my head off!
We celebrated the UN World Environment Day as well as raised funds for the Solar Panel for Pensioners Program (SPPP). We are currently sponsoring our 5th SPPP. Thanks to everyone for your love and support.

July Forecast
 We are currently in Cancer season. The Cancer season runs from 21 June through to 22 July. It is a Water element, a Cardinal sign and is ruled by the Moon, the planet that rules our emotions, feelings, our sensitivities and intuition, our subconscious and unconscious world.
This Cancer energy can pick up on the feelings and energies of others very easily, like feeling the undercurrents — sometimes before others are even aware of how they feel.
The Moon rules memory and the past, so Cancers often hold on to childhood experiences, traditions, or emotional connections. They can be very sentimental and find comfort in familiar places, people, or routines.
Uranus Enters Gemini
 On 7 July, Uranus will move into Gemini. But its only for 4 months, as if its a preview of what we can expect. It will then retrograde back into Taurus to complete whatever it needs to finalise with all that earthy practical Taurus energy, before it moves into Gemini for its 7 year cycle.
Uranus is a masculine energy and the element of air. Its energy is electric, or sparky, a spark can set off a fire. This is what Uranus's function or frequency is all about, to bring about a wave of revitalising transformation. It will disassemble and dismantle the malfunctioning part so that a new one can be built.
Gemini is also a masculine air element, ruled by the planet Mercury. Mercury rules our minds, our intellect and our thinking function. All this sparky electric energy will be affecting our minds with a greater awareness of the power we hold, like the possibility of new ideas emerging, and receiving a huge special stimulation in our thinking area.
Between now and November, we have the chance to take a close look at how we think, the ability of our thoughts to generate fresh concepts and new fundamental beliefs, and the necessity to take what we say and believe into account in order to comprehend how it manifests in our lives.
Full Moon in Capricorn
 On 10 July, we have a Full Moon in Capricorn. This Full Moon is loaded because there is a Trine happening between Uranus, Pluto and Venus, with Saturn and Neptune. Also during this time, the planet Mars in Virgo on the Mid heaven. When planets are on the angles, they make a bigger statement.
We know that Capricorn and Virgo are earth elements, which is just what we need to remind us of being practical, sensible and grounded, especially during this highly electrical Uranus in Gemini time.
The best part of experiencing Mars in Virgo is that it allows us to be more humble, helpful and being of service to others. When utilised to its fullest potential, Mars in Virgo is the most exquisite service and modest vitality.
The shadow side of Mars in Virgo might be quite painful. It may come across quite judgemental, choosy, critical, perdantic even. Worry can be over the top. Remember you get to decide how to use this Mars in Virgo energy. The best approach is to combine leadership, confidence, and humility together and see how that looks or works for you?
Don't miss this chance of what this Full Moon brings for us, a great opportunity to practice your creative thinking, to ground it and make it real. The process of bringing your new transformative ideas into alignment with the things you wish and really want to manifest into existence.
Mercury Goes Retrograde
 On 18 July, Mercury in Leo will go retrograde for 3 weeks until 11 August. If you have planets or natal planets between 4 degrees of Leo and 15 degrees of Leo, you will be receiving this wonderful energy.
Mercury retrograde is a highly productive time and the sign of Leo will bring out your confidence and leadership qaulities.
While Mercury is retrograding during this time in July and August, take some time to reflect and review on your parents' leadership and confidence style in your early years of life and determine whether you have inherited these same styles within yourself or have you changed them.
Mercury in Leo is asking us to explore this area of our life; investigate it for yourself. This is such a powerful time when new paradigms are emerging. How would you describe your style of confidence and leadership styles today?
New Moon in Leo
 On 24 July, we have a New Moon in Leo. The potent energy continues with that beautiful Leo energy. This New Moon conjuncts the Sun in Leo opposite Pluto in Aquarius, Mercury is still retrograde in Leo, and we have Mars and Sth Node conjunct in Virgo.
There is a lot of masculine fire and air elements that we are dealing with, its refreshing to have earthy Virgo come into the mix to help us ground ourselves.
The shadow side of Virgo can be very critical, it has an editorial eye, it perceives what is wrong rather than what is right. The faulty editorial eye will focus on the error rather than the positive aspects. They will notice the bump in the road, they can be unduly judgemental, over-critical and worry too much.
Remember that we always have options. Let Virgo's earthy nature inspire some optimism during this time. Now is the time to take control of your thoughts. You want to choose what you want to energise with your thoughts by using your leadership energy and your own authority.
This Leo New Moon is incredibly potent. Realise that you have a choice, that your thoughts will be stimulated, and that you can move towards empowerment. For this reason, the New Moon is opposite Pluto, which offers transformation and empowerment to help you let go of your self-judgment and adapt to the higher levels of Leo and Virgo, which are both characterised by self-assured, inspirational, and humble leadership.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are also loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights with others.
I asked the Tarot cards what is the energy for the month of July 2025.
What do we need to be mindful of, so we can make the most out of it for ourselves and for others.
The Magician is in the Conscious position, and 4 of Cups is in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
Love the combination of these two cards. The Magician in the conscious position can conjure up whatever he can imagine.
The 4 of Cups represents the unconscious position and this guy in this card doesn't seem very happy with what is being offered at all.
The message these cards bring forth for us this month is to get clear with what you really want. As they say, be careful what you ask for because you may just get it and then realise, it's not what you really need.
The Magician
This is the first card The Fool meets along the Hero's Journey, and what a fabulous card it is. The Magician has the power to manifest all that he desires. He has all the tools, which are his resources and can arrange them in proper order.
This suggests we all have to power to create what we need in this world. Not our wants because they are ego driven, but what we need the most.
There are magical symbols along the edge of the table and he wears the ourborus as a belt around his waist. He has the magical power to link Heaven with Earth, in other words, as above so below, as within so without. You can see he holds his magic wand towards the red roses above, which are symbolic of his desires, and he points or directs the desires into the garden below.
The rich garden is symbolic of our subconscious mind. It is very fertile ground, therefore we have to be aware of what seeds we plant, for they are plants that will grow.
The 4 of Cups
The figure in this card doesn't seem content with anything. He has his arms and legs crossed demonstrating that he is not letting the energy in nor out and is showing a feeling of indifference or apathy.
He already has 3 cups and he is thinking that the 4th cup looks exactly as the other 3 placed in front of him, so what is the difference? The difference is that the 4th cup is being offered to him by the hand of Mercury, he is the messenger of the Gods.
Whatever has happened in the past, does not matter, what is most important is what is being offered now, today, and that is the point to this card. To please consider the new possibility.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 We have been gathering for the LunaBears Picnic since 2007.
We raised $780 in October 2024
Thank you to Mastersons Bar. Heartfelt thank you to all that attended and to everyone that contributed. 16 people in total contributed this year, it means a lot to our furry friends!
The funds go directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through Free The Bears, with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
