 Happy New Year 2026!
I bet your year has been just as huge and busy as my year. And boy doesn't it just go fast, what is it with that.
Anyhoo, I loved my year and I trust you loved your year as well, and here's to 2026 being even bigger and better than this year.
Let us all move forward into this brand new 2026 year with love and light in our hearts, with happiness and laughter in our bellies and with kindness and gratefulness in our steps.
Bring on 2026!
The universal year number for all of us in 2026 is 10/1. Number 1 is all about planting new seeds and new beginnings for all areas of your life. This year will be an important phase change for the collective.
The number 10 connects to the Wheel of Fortune, the wheel that keeps turning like the four seasons do every year, without fail, summer turning into autumn, winter and then its spring again. This turning of the wheel is symbolic of how our lives evolve and revolve, things coming around again and again. Hopefully we grow and move through these cycles, that's the idea, that we get to see how successful we have become. Remember, if its not a challenge for us, we are not growing.

Welcome to Capricorn Season
 The Capricorn season runs from 21 December to the 19 January. It is an Earth element, a Cardinal sign and is ruled by the planet Saturn, whom is also referred to as the hard task master.
Capricorn season arrives with a grounded, no-nonsense energy that asks us to step into maturity, leadership, and long-term vision. After the expansive dreaming of Sagittarius, Capricorn says: “Now its time to make it real.”
Capricorn energy is characterised by ambition, discipline and perseverance, focusing on long-term goals, structure and achievement, that's because it roots are in that logical and practical Earth element and ruled by the planet Saturn. All this leads towards a hardworking, responsible, yet secretly sensitive "Sea-Goat" nature that balances material success with inner wisdom and a hidden fun side.
JANUARY FORECAST
Full Moon in Cancer
 We start the month with a Full Moon in Cancer on 3 January. Its the first lunation for the new year of 2026 and its happening early in the month.
When we discuss the Moon and Cancer, it's a very pleasant Moon energy because the Moon rules the zodiac sign of Cancer, the energy is loving, prospering, nourishing and nurturing.
Also, note that the planets Mercury, Venus, the Sun and Mars are all sitting in the practical and grounded energy of Capricorn making quite a statement. All these planets are opposite the Moon and Jupiter is also sitting with the Moon in Cancer expanding all this energy.
The Moon is emphasiing to us that, despite the earthy energy of Capricorn all around us, we must remember to take care of ourselves and also stay focused while working hard on our objectives.
Therefore, pay attention to what feeds and fulfills you during this Full Moon in Cancer. Make sure your inflow and outflow are balanced by becoming aware of this. Keep in mind that most people give more to others out there than they give to themselves inside.
Take a deep breath and give yourself some time to comfort and nurture yourself. It's the ideal time to organise, clean, and prepare meals for yourself and loved ones at home.
Capricorn Activation
 ~ 15 December - 23 January: Mars in Capricorn
~ 24 December - 17 January: Venus in Capricorn
~ 1 January - 20 January: Mercury in Capricorn
The three planets Mars, Venus, and Mercury will be in Capricorn during the first few weeks of January, which will activate the energy of accomplishment, efficiency, and organization as well as the creation of structure, strategy, and preparation. We can all benefit from this enormous mega wave of productivity.
In summary, this Capricorn energy sweep is an amazing chance and opportunity for us to accomplish, act, and ground this energy in a really useful way in whatever areas we are working on. Therefore, align your thinking to this practical energy and use it to achieve your goals and objectives.
New Moon in Capricorn
 On 19 January, we have a New Moon in Capricorn. This New Moon amplifies all the Capricorn activation that is going on. It really is a super duper productive time.
During this time, the planets Mars, Mercury, the Sun, and the Moon are all still in Capricorn, while Venus is just entering the sign of Aquarius and is conjunct Pluto. We continue to be driven by this urge to create, produce and to move things forward in order to make things happen.
Throughout all of this active and productive time, the Moon is requesting that we acknowledge our moods, feelings and emotions. Please give yourself credit for all of your work and efforts, both internally and externally. During this powerful New Moon, treat yourself to something unique and special. Take advantage of it and feel amazing.
Aquarius Activation
 ~ 17 January - 10 February: Venus in Aquarius
~ 20 January - 6 February: Mercury in Aquarius
~ 23 January - 3 March: Mars in Aquarius
During the final week of January, the orientation changes to a more intellectual level as it enters Aquarius, emphasising the humanitarian reality that we are all related and we are all one. Aquarius, a fixed air element, replaces the grounded practical energy of Capricorn and all that cardinal modality energy.
When minor planets move together from one sign into the next they seem to be ringing little bells for us, as if they are asking us to pay attention to something. It's as if the cosmos is attempting to awaken us by tapping us. They would be large bells or taps if the transits were traveling more slowly, or major angles are involved. Little taps or bells are these fast inner planets that assist us, tap us in order to engage us to do something, we need sit up and pay attention here, just get ready.
Neptune Enters Aries
 On the 26 January, the planet Neptune finally moves in the new sign of Aries. Aries is a fire element and in February we will also be moving into the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse.
The truly big news for January is that Neptune is finally leaving its 14-year Pisces transit cycle and moving into Aries, where it will stay for another 14 years. This energy will be intensified even further when Saturn enters Aries in February.
Neptune in Aries is a huge generational shift from 2025-2039, blending Neptune's dreamy, spiritual energy (dissolving boundaries, inspiration) with Aries' bold, pioneering drive (action, self-discovery, innocence). This transit brings revolutionary creativity, a focus on new identities, leadership, and bold, perhaps even rage-fueled, trends in culture and technology, marking a time of bold first steps, breaking old molds, and redefining heroism and innovation, with echoes of past eras like the American Civil War.
Neptune in Aries is asking us to reorientate our focus during the year 2026. It's time to assert our spiritual potential; this is a profound and significant idea. It's time to grow spiritually confident in our capacity to find the answers we seek by going straight to our source—our intellect, our superconscious.
So, its time to learn new strategies and skills to delve inside and find your own solutions. This is the new focus with Neptune in Aries, its like a strong thrust in the direction of your inner control center. It's similar to telling yourself, "I can change my life by taking action through my choices." Neptune in Aries starts this process for you; all you need to do is to have the courage to listen within and have confidence in your inner wisdom to know that you already own all the answers; all you need to do is pay attention to your inner master.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are also loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights with others.
Each month, I always like to ask the Tarot cards:
~ What is the energy for the month of January 2026.
~ What do we need to be mindful of so we can make the most out of it for ourselves and for others.
Two of Wands is in the Conscious position, and Page of Swords in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
This new month in this new 2026 year begins with the Two of Wands in the conscious position. This energy is a very successful energy, its about looking towards the future wanting to create more success.
The Page of Swords in the unconscious position is a court card. Pages are seen as new beginnings, swords has to do with the air element, new ideas, thoughts and decisions are coming through, and once again, we are moving into a new year.
These two cards together remind me of a new years resolution. The wishful thinking of reaching out for something new ahead for ourselves, something that is new to us, this new idea that we don't even know how to do it yet. It's a whole new direction for ourselves. It also suggests to step forward courageously, to take the risk and be confident with your new direction.
Two of Wands
The man standing on the balcony is very successful, a) because a balcony suggests a high elevated position of importance, b) because he is holding the world in his right hand, he is conscious of his success.
He is looking across the waters to the purple mountains. The mountains are a symbol of aspiration, wanting to climb to a new challenge. This time the mountains are purple in colour, suggesting he is wanting to reach spiritual aspirations. It's not just about working in a position for money anymore, but adding more value into his work, career and life.
He is holding a wand in his left hand, the unconscious side. This suggests he doesn't know how to activate this new talent yet. He has kept the other wand, fastened it to the balcony, this is probably the skill that made him successful, and he can always pick it up again, but as you can see, he has turned his back to it.
Page of Swords
Pages are symbolic of new beginnings, they are the newbies on the block, they still don't know how to successfully maneuver their skills, ideas and talents. In fact, this page is not even looking at his sword.
The ground where he stands seems very uneven and depicts uncertainty. He also looks like he is standing on a mound, suggesting he has tickets on himself, he thinks he knows but he doesn't.
The wind is stirring, you can see the tree is bending over, his hair is blowing in the wind, his head looks like its in a cloud and we don't know in which direction the birds above him are flying in. He is all over the place.
Then the red boots he wears are quite prominent. Red is the colour for passion, desires and action. These boots suggests he may have jumped in without thinking about things, just like a child would do for instant gratification.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 We have been gathering for the LunaBears Picnic since 2007. In 2 years time it will be our 20 year reunion.
We raised $790 in October 2025
Thank you to Mastersons Bar. Heartfelt thank you to all that attended and to everyone that contributed. 17 people contributed this year, that means a lot to our furry friends!
The funds go directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through Free The Bears, with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
