 Merry Xmas to you!
And another year down, and what a beauty it was for me. Traveling overseas was definitely my highlight for the year. Took me two years of planning, many changes along the way, but we got there. Now, I'm already planning for my next trip.

Welcome to Sagittarius Season
 The Sagittarius season runs from 22 November through to 21 December. It is a Fire element, a Mutable sign and is ruled by the planet Jupiter. Perfect time for sharing, teaching, or using your spiritual offerings.
When the Sun moves into this delightful and expansive Sagittarius energy, the collective energy shifts from Scorpio’s deep introspection into a new phase of adventure, truth, and inspiration. This is the zodiac’s season of freedom, exploration, and the quest for meaning.
Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system, know as the planet of expansion, abundance, wisdom, luck, and higher truth. Because it rules Sagittarius, it infuses this sign with its most generous qualities. Jupiter pushes Sagittarius to constantly reach beyond limitations—to grow, learn, travel, explore, and evolve. Therefore, Sagittarius is often on the quest for truth.
When we look at the shadow side of Sagittarius—the energies that appear when this fire sign is unbalanced, unconscious, or overstimulated. Because Sagittarius speaks the truth—in the shadow side, this may become blunt, insensitive, cutting, or self-righteous communication.
They may mistake cruelty for honesty or overlook how their words impact others.
DECEMBER FORECAST
Full Moon in Gemini
 We start the month with a Full Moon in Gemini on 4 December. Mercury rules the sign of Gemini, it also rules Virgo. Mercury has to do with our mind, our thoughts, the decisions we make and how we communicate.
With this Full Moon in Gemini, its emphasising how important it is to consider the words we use, what are we actually saying, and the beliefs that underlie our words. It's a great opportunity to rethink our thoughts and convictions and realise that we must all take accountability for the reality we are creating, which is fueled by everything we say.
The impending dramatic transit of Uranus into Gemini in April 2026 is hinted at by this Full Moon in Gemini. Uranus will be in Gemini for seven years. Our beliefs, our minds, and this amazing idea of co-creating our reality will all be filled with a magnificent electric flow of energy.
The most significant statement related to this Full Moon, however, is that Mars is in Sagittarius with the assistance from the Sun and Venus in Sagittarius as well, squaring the planets Saturn and Neptune in Pisces.
We must be aware of Sagittarius's shadow side, which may manifest in difficult aspects like this one. We can become righteous and develop extremely strong opinions when Sagittarius is challenged, intimidated, or under immense stress, and then judgment may follow from this.
The positive side is to look up, just like the arrow and breakthrough that judgemental and polarisation that is going on all around us at the moment, aim for the higher levels, you want the energy to flow and come from the higher ideals of Sagittarius.
Mars Square Saturn and Neptune
 From 7 through to 14 December, is when the energy will be the strongest for the planet Mars in Sagittarius will square both Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. This combination of planets could play out dramatically, imagine a large bear snarling, growling and howling at you, scary stuff!
When Mars and Saturn are in conjunction, square, or opposition, there can occasionally be a great deal of annoyance and frustration because Mars is an action planet and wants to take quick action. Saturn, on the other hand, wants to go cautiously and practically. Getting these two planets to cooperate is the goal here.
Remember we have no influence over people around us, but we do have power over our own reactions and we can choose how we want to respond when we find ourselves in these prickly situations.
When Mars and Saturn are used in harmony, you get disciplined, focused, productive and motivated energy, which is why I think this combination is incredibly effective. Adding Neptune into the mix will be much more creative and spiritually inspiring.
Mercury in Sagittarius
 On 11 December, Mercury will move into Sagittarius. The entire Sagittarius energy will be enhanced by Mercury. Remember that Mercury spent a considerable amount of time in Scorpio before retrograding. The good news is that Mercury has finished its retrograde and is now in Sagittarius, inviting you to experience awareness and breakthroughs for things you were most likely working on in October and November.
Mercury spends the entire month in Sagittarius. Be mindful of not falling for the shadow side of Sagittarius and express those intense opinions, or righteous outrage or worse still become sanctimonious.
Mercury in Sagittarius gives us the opportunity to see things from a higher perspective. This is Sagittarius's blessing and gift to us. Sagittarius is exceptionally adept at seeing the larger picture and gaining a broader bigger point of view.
Gemini, the opposite sign, and Virgo, both of which are ruled by Mercury, are extremely detail-oriented. Virgo is able to analyze every little detail and split things down into manageable bits. Sagittarius synthesizes the many components and sees the wider bigger picture.
Mars in Capricorn
 On 15 of December, Mars moves into Capricorn until 23 January 2026. Whatever sign Mars transits each month emphasizes the energy surrounding us and highlights the actions we can take.
Let's refer to this Mars in Capricorn as the Executive Mars since it is incredibly productive, well-organized, and strategic.
Mars is in Capricorn until 23 January. This is a fantastic time to make a clear decision, solve problems, and be extremely productive about it. It suggests, rather than sitting around and pondering over the issue, let's get into action and move things forward. Let's proceed respectfully and have a breakthrough.
It says, "How do we become loving, grace-filled, divine beings acting creatively and coming from higher consciousness? How do we deal with all the triggers that are all around us every day?"
We may be able to accomplish favourable results with the help of all these planets in Sagittarius - Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury, along with Mars in Capricorn.
For instance, you may find yourself in a certain circumstance that can set you off into the shadow side of Sagittarius and become judgmental and opinionated. Especially in today's living where we find ourselves in very polarised views.
Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, encourages us to apply love and find fresh new solutions to stagnate old issues. There is a challenge, but I believe it's a really positive and constructive one. We can respond differently at any time, which advances us into the higher levels of Sagittarius, which include breakthroughs and freedom. This is when we are able to see the overall big picture and direction of everything that is going on.
Note that December is the last month for Saturn and Neptune transiting Pisces. In January 2026, Neptune moves into Aries followed by Saturn moving into Aries in February, we will all be launched into the fiery Aries dynamic, also its the Chinese new year of the Fire Horse.
What a wonderful powerful month and year ahead

20 New Moon in Sagittarius. Fabulous time to go a picnic and have an adventure.
21 Summer Solstice. Longest day of the year for the Southern Hemisphere, therefore shortest day of the year for the Northern Hemisphere.
21 Litha (Pagan Wicca). A time to spend outdoors, celebrating with others the renewal and regenerative energy of the sun.

Every month, I turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.
These two Tarot cards are also loaded on my Tarot Mastery private Facebook group for students of Tarot in Action to explore the meanings and share their insights with others.
I always like to ask the Tarot cards:
~ What is the energy for the month - December 2025.
~ What do we need to be mindful of so we can make the most out of it for ourselves and for others.
Judgement is in the Conscious position, and 8 of Pentacles in the Unconscious position.
  Summary...
The month begins with Judgement, a major arcana in the conscious position, and the 8 of Pentacles in the unconscious.
Judgement fits beautifully here for that December Xmas energy because its that time of giving, a time of doing for others, a time of getting together with loved ones and heeding a higher call.
The 8 of Pentacles in the background suggests there is still much work to do, maybe working longer hours, or working throughout the night to get things ready for everyone. Is it of value though? You betcha it is.
Judgement
You can see three people standing out of their coffins. The 3 people are the Fool (your innocence), The Magician (your Spirit), and The High Priestess (your Soul). The coffins represent the boxes we put ourselves in. You can see they are all standing out as if they have all rebirthed themselves.
This is the Arch-angel Gabriel blowing his horn, asking you to wake up to your path, to your calling. The 3 people are grey in colour, grey is the colour of wisdom. We need the ego in the early stages of our life and in the later stages of life we use our wisdom.
The flag with the red cross stands out for me, known as St Georges cross. The flag has many connections. The healing symbol of the the Red Cross. It also connects to the red roses (your desires) and the white lilies (versus the ideal) in The Magician card. This union of opposites (desires vs Ideal) suggest when you make a stand for what you believe in, you heal something, and you know its the right thing to do.
The 8 Pentacles
The figure in this card seems to be happy with what he is doing, chipping away at things, seems like he is also making a mint. Pentacles have to do with material wealth and spiritual wealth. Yes, he is making money and he also loves or values what he does.
Beneath the black apron the symbol of covering up something, he wears the colours of The Magician, red the colour for passion and desires, and The High Priestess, blue the colour of feelings and intuition. Suggesting deeper down he would rather be moving on to doing something else. But like an apprentice, you first have to practice your craft to make perfect.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
 We have been gathering for the LunaBears Picnic since 2007. In 2 years time it will be our 20 year reunion.
We raised $790 in October 2025
Thank you to Mastersons Bar. Heartfelt thank you to all that attended and to everyone that contributed. 17 people contributed this year, that means a lot to our furry friends!
The funds go directly to the Bear Sanctuary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through Free The Bears, with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
