 Revelations #156 May 2020

Due to Covid-19 pandemic all my classes have gone online, which I am so grateful for. Of course, this doesn't suit everyone because many want to have that class experience and others have lost their jobs and cannot afford to do what they wanted to do.

If April was all about Death and Resurrection with Easter and Anzac Day, I feel May is all about Love. Love is in the air! This month begins with Global Love Day, then we will celebrate Mothers Day and Volunteers Day. Time to share and spread that love!

1. Astrological Report For May

The month begins with the Full Moon in Scorpio on 7 May. Scorpio as we all know by now, is a very intense energy. Add the Full Moon emotional energy to that and wowzas!

One way to connect with this powerful energy, is to tap into the abundant universal divine energy.

Raise your energy, vibrate higher. When we meditate, it is all about tapping into the feeling of enlightenment. It is achievable, it is available to all of us, we just have to do it and when we do, we are really standing in our power.

For many, this physical-isolation period has allowed us to look within and connect to our inner divine self. The outer world hasn't played a strong stance in our lives, we have been forced to look at our inner world.

Mercury transits Gemini on 12 May. Mercury rules Gemini and is very content to be in its home sign.

New ideas are flowing! I look forward to seeing all the new ideas that will be birthed through this self-isolation time. New music, new creative arts, performances, inventions, etc.

There is a lot of Gemini energy around us for this entire month with Mercury already moved into Gemini.  The Sun will move into Gemini later in the month at the same time the New Moon moves into Gemini. 

Venus, Mercury, the Sun and Moon are all personal planets. These personal energies are all about how we think and how we love, tapping into new feelings and how we demonstrate ourselves. You should be feeling confidence.

This reviewing of the self will continue with Venus going Retrograde in Gemini on 14 May.

Venus loves beauty and creating beautiful things. Time to use this energy in a wonderful creative sense otherwise Venus can be lazy, idle followed by binge eating and becoming gluttonous, which won't make you feel good.

To manifest this energy in its highest positive form, do some creative writing and journaling, or tap into the spiritual divine energy by channeling and doing some yoga and meditation, this will make you fell good about yourself!

Also on 14 May, we have Mars going into Pisces. Mars is all about your energy and that masculine action planet, the sign of Pisces is all about dreams and visions.

Everything is pointing to going within. We cannot go out to celebrate and party with our friends and family yet. We are forced to face ourselves, forced to look within. 

Maybe with this Mars in Pisces energy you will actually feel the energy to bake, to create, to do some yoga, have the energy to do and communicate with your inner spiritual nurturing side.

During this mid month, we have many planets going Retrograde. Pluto already is Retrograde since 26 April. Saturn is going Retrograde on 11 May, followed by Venus and Jupiter both Retrograding on 14 May.

This makes so much sense why we are feeling this chaos and uncertainty at the moment. Even the planets are retreating for the time being, especially through this lock down time.

When a planet goes Retrograde it means it is a time for us to retreat, to review and reflect. To turns our energies inwardly, allowing us to reassess, refocus and integrate where we are at and what we have to do to get back on track.

All this energy will peak and make sense with the New Moon in Gemini on 22 May. Once again this Gemini quality is really being highlighted, and Mercury and Venus is conjunct in Gemini as well.

Time to bring forth all the new beautiful creative ideas that the first part of month was asking us to tap into. Now it all starts to make sense. 

I also feel some of the lock down rules will be lifted and we are starting to communicate with our loved ones and friends and not taking it for granted like we used too.

The uncertainty may still be hovering around because we are communicating in a new way, but we have the choice to feel calm, peaceful and centred within.

5  Aquarid Meteor Shower. The 2020 Eta Aquariid meteor shower is expected to produce the greatest number of meteors in the wee hours before dawn on May 5. However, the broad peak of the Eta Aquariid shower may present a similar showing of meteors during the predawn hours on May 4 and May 6, too.
5 - 7  Ozwater 2020 in Adelaide, is Australia’s largest and leading water conference and exhibition and is the ‘must attend’ event for those working or interested in the water industry across the globe.
7  Full Moon in Scorpio. A guarded mood. Great time to get into those hard to do jobs.
9  World Migratory Bird Day. Raising awareness for Migratory Birds.
10  Mother's Day. Many Australians celebrate Mother's Day by showing their appreciation for the achievements and efforts of mother.
18  International Museum Day. Every year since 1977 International Museum Day is organized worldwide.
17  RSPCA Million Paws Walk, will gather all dog lovers to make a stand for animals in need!
18 - 24  National Volunteer Week. Help us say thank you to millions of volunteers.
22  International Day for Biological Diversity, which aims to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues.
23  World Turtle Day, held to teach people about turtles and stress the importance of conservation week.
23  New Moon in Gemini. An inquisitive mood. Increased mental agility time.
26  National Sorry Day, is an annual day of commemoration and remembrance of all those who have been impacted by the government policies of forcible removal that have resulted in the Stolen Generations.
27 - 3 June  National reconciliation Week.

2. Turn Over Two Tarot Cards to Answer the Monthly Question

Every Month I like to turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

I am still questioning about Covid-19, this time when is the end in sight? I turned over The Sun in the Conscious position and 6 of Pentacles in the Unconscious position.

Interesting pick because last month I turned over Death and the 6 Pentacles. This month we have The Sun, and the same 6 Pentacles shows up again.

The Sun, well, this gives me some joy and warmth for The Sun is all about rebirth, the new life and the new beginning.

The Sun is a 10/1 number which is all that new beginning again energy, pioneering and leading the way. Being unique, strong and powerful to begin something new in a new direction.

6 of Pentacles, looks like the financial handouts are still being handed out, looks like supporting others will still be continuing on for a good while yet.

6 of Pentacles, is about all those people that give of their service to others, for the scales connects us to the zodiac sign of Libra the sign of relationships, whatever these relationships may be. Connecting and sharing with others, giving and receiving.

6 of Pentacles is also about receiving support from the universe in the form of financial support, emotional, mental, physical and/or spiritual support. Look at all the discussions about and the support being given with all the various mental health and stress issues that are going on because of this pandemic.
 

The children of today, are our future!

The Sun, gives us hope. We all need hope we need to lift our spirits, we need The Sun's energy to make everything grow.

The Sun card is actually about new life. You can see the The Fool rebirthed in the picture. And like that child manner and energy, we are back at square one, back at the beginning, but on a new level.

Does this Sun card give us a glimpse of actual new beginnings here? That we will not be returning back to how things were, but creating new ways of doing it? This is what I think we need to get our head around. New ways of doing everything! I really think things are going to be way different. It is not going to go back to how things were, to what used to be and what we were used too.

On The Project the other night, I saw young boys and girls creating and inventing new masks and shields to give to our Drs and Nurses. They were printing these masks on 3D printers in their own home using their own pocket money!

Another lot of young kids were talking with the elders, they are Pen-pals and using the Zoom platform to connect!

In Summary, in relation to the question...

The Sun tells me we need to see things in a new light, shine a new light on things. But there is so much for us to take in to really understand what is going on, because we are looking at things through the eyes of a child.

The Sun is bringing in all the new ways for us, time to get excited about what it all could mean, not just for ourselves, but for the human race! 

6 of Pentacles tells me that love and service is where the healing is. When we give we feel fulfilled and we feel we are performing at our best. Love and giving of your love to others is the only thing that is going to get us through this together.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC

In 2020, it will be the 13th year of us gathering for this Annual LunaBears Picnic.

Every year we get together to donate funds to the Bear Sancutary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears organisation with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!
 

We raised $340 in 2019!

We each contribute a little and together we make a huge difference. All the funds go towards, medicine, rescues, food, upkeep, you name it there is a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
