We are facing super duper extraordinary times with confronting Covid-19.

Everyone around the world is working through it as best as they can, and all wondering what does it all mean for us? How are we going to be on the other side of this?

In the Tarot questions section below, the Death card came though. Death does not only mean endings but also many transformations. We all don't know what these transformations will be, they will be different for every single one of us.

In April, we will have the Easter long weekend, we may not be celebrating it as we normally would, and it will be another event making us face life, death and resurrection. Anzac Day is another event called off, but in our hearts and homes we will still be giving our thanks for those that were loved and lost, so that we may live.

I am expecting a resurrection or new beginning after April and the Astrology forecast below speaks more about this.

1. Astrological Report For April

We start this month with a world pandemic, the world is in crisis and a lot of people are stressed...

The month begins with Venus entering Gemini on the 4 April. This is a huge placement because Venus will remain in Gemini until August. Normally, Venus will spend approx a month in each sign, but this time Venus will also Retrograde in Gemini, hence this longer significant period.

Venus is a very social planet and Mercury is all about communication. Who would have thought we would be experiencing this combination of Venus in Gemini as self-isolation, and social-distancing.

But Mercury is highly creative and this is only a challenge for Venus. So look at all the creative ways in which we are connecting with each other.

For example, all my Tarot and Astrology classes have gone online. There are people on social media sharing exercise programs, and reading children books. People singing from their balconies and there is a huge world-wide Teddy-Bear hunt going on, with people placing their bears in their front windows. Absolutely joyous and creative activities!

The negative side of Venus in Gemini, are all the conspiracies theories that going on. They are spreading fear like wild-fire creating more stress. They are all saying something different, there are no scientific or any reliable sources, only speculations. Its like people are looking for someone blame and someone needs to hang for this.

The positive side of Venus in Gemini, is spreading the love. Creatively connecting with each other, caring for each other. Using your words wisely, focusing on spreading happy beautiful messages. Through words we can bring our loved ones closer, even though they are at 1.5 metres arms length away. This is Venus energy at her best.

Using Venus in Gemini in this positive and higher vibrational way, you will feel calmer, this in turn will soothe your limbic brain, therefore your immune system becomes stronger and you are happier!

On 7 April we have a Full Moon in Libra. What is also significant with this Libran Full Moon is that Venus is also in Gemini, along with Mars in Aquarius and Saturn in Aquarius.

What we are looking at here is a lot of Air Element energy. And when there is a lot of Air Element, there is a lot of mental conflict energy and stress.

The Full Moon will also add her emotional aspects to this full on Air Element. You may be feeling mentally stressed, anxious and mentally overloaded with whats going on at the moment. Your mind will be working overtime, you might get caught up in the hypothetical world of 'what if'.

So, what are some things we can do to balance the energies, for this is what the Full Moon in Libra is all about. Highlighting the need to feel the harmony within ourselves and within our families.

Meditations would be on the top of my list, reading books, going for walks. Simple activities that we can do to earth ourselves, get back into our bodies, feel grounded and get our balance back. This will also make you feel centered and living life in the present world.
 

On 22 April we have New Moon in Taurus. I love anything to do with Taurus and the Moon combinations. For Taurus is so grounded and practical.

Also note that Taurus is ruled by Venus. We have had a very strong Venus influence for this entire month. Venus is working very hard to restore some sense of normality for us, weaving her lovely creative magic throughout this entire month of April.

Venus is about dealing with relationships, bringing in social harmony within groups of people and making things look and feel beautiful again.

New Moons bring through new emotional tidings, opening us up to new feelings and new experiences.

Therefore, I will be expecting to hear some potential good news around this point of time with whats happening in the world.

24  New Moon in Aries. A daring mood.
25  ANZAC Day, we honor and give our respects to our veterans from the WW1 and other wars.

26  Marks the anniversary of the world's worst civil nuclear disaster, in Chernobyl in the USSR, in 1986. Design flaws led to a power surge, causing massive explosions that blew the top off a reactor. More than 10,000 people died as a result of the accident, 3.5 million people have become ill and the rate of thyroid cancer in affected areas increased 10 times. The contamination spread across Belarus and into western Europe.

2. Turn Over Two Tarot Cards to Answer the Monthly Question

Every Month I like to turn over 2 cards, one from the top of the deck to represent the Conscious energy and the other from the bottom of the deck to represent the Unconscious energy. I am always thinking of the big picture and exploring for the collective.

Covid-19 is on everyone's mind, so I had to ask the tarots what they had to say about it all. I turned over Death in the Conscious position and 6 of Pentacles in the Unconscious position.

Death, well I am not surprised as this has been on everyone's mind lately. It is advertised every day and the deaths are only growing. Italy was the epi-center in Europe, now it looks as though the US has overtaken Italy.

6 of Pentacles, well this too speaks many words. Not only is the government having to spend billions and trillions of dollars to pull us out of this economy downturn, but there are also so many people of the front-lines taking care of us too, from Doctors and nurses, to chemists and supermarket attendees.

6 of Pentacles, is about all those people that give their service to others, for the scales connects us to Libra the sign of relationships.

Death is how many businesses have had to shut their doors, will they be able to reopen again? Because of this there are also a lot of people retrenched from their work and forced to queue up at Centrelink.

People are facing Death is so many ways. Weddings that have been cancelled and people requesting their deposits returned. Flight Center gone. All the travel plans gone. The Avalon airport has turned into an airplane graveyard.

We don't really like to face Death, but with this Covid-19 we are forced too. Many families having to bury their loved ones. Nations having to set up their huge arenas as temporary morgues.

In Summary, in relation to the question...

Death, you can consciously activate this energy by doing some cleaning and clearing. Get rid of those broken things, things that don't serve you any more moving forward. Make space for the new things to come through.

6 of Pentacles tells me that love and service is where the healing is. Conspiracy theories brings us fear, stress and mental languish. Love and giving of your love to others is the only thing that is going to get us through this together.

LUNABEARS LADS & LADYS - ANNUAL PICNIC
In 2020, it will be the 13th year of us gathering for this Annual LunaBears Picnic.

Every year we get together to donate funds to the Bear Sancutary in Luang Prabang, Laos, through the Free The Bears organisation with the resolve to end Bear bile farming forever!

 We raised $340 in 2019!

We each contribute a little and together we make a huge difference. All the funds go towards, medicine, rescues, food, upkeep, you name it there is a lot of work that needs doing and all that costs money.
